SCFLMT Webinars are offered at various afternoon / evening times on Zoom.

August 26, 4:15 to 5:15pm: SCFLMT Andrea McKnight, elementary teacher, Everyday Economics: Making Money Meaningful (the webinar will share resources and highlight ways teachers are already using economics, laying the foundation for financially literate adults, even in kindergarten. Geared toward elementary but adaptive to all grades.)
September 16, 4:15 to 5:15 pm: SCFLMT Jackie Yocum, high school Computer / CTE teacher and SCFLMT Monica Carter, Curious About Crypto? History, how it works, who is using it, pros and cons, lesson ideas and resources
September 29, 4:30 to 5:30 pm (note slight time change): SCFLMT Debra Wallace, middle school Career teacher, The Curiosity Lab that Turns Unexpected Careers into Unforgettable Learning
October 15, 4:15 to 5:15pm: SCFLMT Vanessa Mitchell, high school CTE teacher, topic TBD

The SCFLMT Webinars are taught by educators currently participating in the SC Financial Literacy Master Teachers (SCFLMTs).

SC Teachers who attend an SCFLMT Webinar taught by a SCFLMT may be eligible to earn a $100 stipend by:

(a) attending the entire PD session,

(b) teaching a lesson of their choice about financial literacy to their students, and
