Helen Meyers
President

Helen Meyers is a former classroom teacher and has taught high school special education and was a first grade teacher for five years prior to teaching on Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Palmetto Health Baptist.

Her education background includes a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary and special education from Western Illinois University and a Masters of Education from Southern Illinois University.

Her work experience outside the classroom includes the public relations department at Palmetto Health in Columbia and at Junior Achievement of Central South Carolina.

Constance Dyson
Program Director

Constance Dyson has an extensive business and accounting background, having worked as a purchasing agent and accounting/office manager with several Columbia-area businesses.

She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accountancy from Auburn University and an associate’s degree in nursing from Southern Union College.

Constance joined SC Economics in March 2007.

Megan Brown
Program Assistant

In 2006, Megan was awarded a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Francis Marion University. She has worked for the mortgage companies, Washington Mutual and IndyMac Bank, and for a real estate attorney. Megan began working for SC Economics in March 2009 on a part-time basis and joined the staff fulltime in January 2010.
