About the South Carolina Stock Market Game
Each year, more than 6,000 students play the Stock Market Game in South Carolina. Available to public, private, home schools and universities, the Game is the South Carolina Council’s signature event, a far-reaching active-learning strategy that works for students of all ages.

And, for the second year, teachers can play the Stock Market Game in a special competition that matches them against their peers. Teachers compete at the same time as their students in the Traditional version of the game. The teacher with the best portfolio takes home a laptop computer at the awards luncheon in the spring.

We are grateful to Merrill Lynch for sponsoring the South Carolina Stock Market Game for students and teachers and the Young Entrepreneur Awards.
